
Noah Widmann reports more than $450K in cash to take on Cory Mills
Casselberry Democrat Noah Widmann raised more than $200,000 in the third quarter to challenge Republican U.S. Rep. Cory Mills.
That brings his grand total to more than $450,000 in contributions in the battleground seat. That’s more than any Democrat has raised in the last two election cycles, or since redistricting allowed Mills to flip the seat in 2022 from Democrat to GOP control.

Democrat Noah Widmann didn’t beat Mills by much, bringing it more than $254,000 compared to Mills’ $253,000. But if Mills does stick around to run for re-election in the House, this could be a sign he’ll face a tougher-than-expected General Election matchup, especially with the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee already listing Mills’ seat as a target.
